Canoe alert

Bill Mason was a premier canoeist and film maker. His film 'Waterwalker' is currently on sale for download from National Filmboard Canada. I already have the DVD and can recommend it, especially at 99 cents.

That is a great film. This is one fellow who threw himself into the life of cinematography and canoeing combined, literally living the life of doing so. Both his kids have continued on with canoeing in their own ways too.

Thanks Glenn, I look forward to watching that one. In my research to find out who Bill Mason was, I was delighted to see he is the fellow responsible for "Paddle to the Sea". A short film that intrigued me when I was a kid, and a story that I'd never forgotten.

I just finished watching Waterwalker again. Didn't have to dig out the DVD, thanks to Greg.
