Are there any improvements that I, as owner of a 2010 17B, should consider installing?
This thread has gotten off track. Regarding your original question above you may find value in seeing what we have done to a 2010 19. Links to most of my mods are consolidated here. I think the only three not listed are a change to a Springfield pedestal for the dinette table, change to a removable power cord and added a light with a motion activated function (Starlights Smart Light 1000) on the exterior.

That’s the same thing that happened to me in Montana last May except it was a “nest”
Don’t apologize Donna. I can tell a 56 Chevy
From a 55 at 300 yards but can’t tell current SUVs apart in a grocery store parking lot
Unless I walk around them and look at the hood badge. And none of them look as good as the 55.
Which Escape owner once had a Crown Vic with the glass top?

One other difference between 2G vs 1G Escapes, not mentioned here yet, is the newer trailers have a much improved insulation package for the thermal option.
Also, I agree with Donna about the aesthetics of old vs new. The 1G have style, especially the “airplane door”. Although I do appreciate how much better our 2G door seals than our 1G didn’t.
