Those were the days huh? Some people are now starting to say, "smoking isn't all that good for you".

Well, he made it on 2 1/2 packs a day from 13 to 70 years old before the Camels took him on the last ride. I hope I inherited those lungs.

My sister is a hopeless nicotine addict and have to say it has reduced her prospects in life. Even after two heart attacks before age 60 she keeps on puffin at 65. Our smoker mom died of sudden heart attack at 62. Never too late to quit.

I would be closing in on 29 years smoke free.

Funny that when I was younger at least 85% of my friends smoked, and now I doubt if it is even 15% that do. I know a lot of quitters.

I don't really follow a lot of the subjects this thread touched on. However, Karen H made the comment about camels and tents which got me to thinking I hadn't heard the great song The Shiek of Araby for a while. So rather than educate myself at this late date, I spent the time listening to Louis Armstrong and the Dukes of Dixieland. The lines, At night while you're asleep, into your tent I'll creep, man I always liked that riff. Yes I am certifiable.

Exercise, eat right, die anyway. I smoke. Yeah I do... yeah I know it's bad for me (TOTALLY). One of my best bud's is an Oncology Nurse... I know, I know. Guess I should quit and start drinking more beer BUT, I don't smoke in my trailer... shoot, I hardly cook in there and don't have a fur kid. Everyone has a nasty bad habit (who is overweight here?) ... even if they think they don't have any unhealthy habits

And I still like Camel Joe Cool

I vote for the quit and drink more beer option[emoji6]. I'll be glad to teach you how to homebrew. And yes Dave we all know you are certifiable. [emoji12]

I'm curious to know what affect volcanic eruptions have on climate change. Scientifically of course.

So Donna, are you going to use a WDH when you're towing that oxygen tank around?
I quit about six years ago because you can't inhale when you have bronchial pneumonia. Have osteoporosis, emphysema and COPD. Being dead is a minor problem.

Yes, but I have a lot of fun. I been working out with the Stihl 029 Farm Boss during the day and doing 12 ounce curls at night. Never smoked but have abused my lungs on the job, my hearing on the job and my liver also on the job on occasion. Eyes are good though.
