David Letterman's top ten reasons for a new Escape....
1.The new style flush mount awning windows look awesome
2.the new style refrigerator works as designed
3.the new style door and screen is a nice touch
4.the new power awning is self cleaning
5.the optional awning light is really nice
6. the new style USB 12v outlets are nice
7. the new style sewer hook ups are an improvement
8. the new style LED rear brake and tail lights are much better
9.the new style sink faucet and bath sink are an improvement
and the #10 reason is.........
you get a new calendar for 2 more years.......

I have to say, I ordered mine despite misgivings about the new, powered awning. I think the older, manual awnings provide you with more versatility and options, and of course are a lot less expensive.

Yes, I agree, it is quite slick with it's look and operation. Do not miss those awning arms and it sweeps the awning clean when retracting.
