Delays in meeting completion date?
So, we are excitedly approaching our completion date in mid March 2021 on our new 21NE. We plan on having our trailer delivered to VA. We would like to take our new trailer out for a four week trip around April 24th. Since we are anticipating a very busy trailer season, we would like to have reservations in place at the state parks in the Southeast. But, we have heard of some supply issues. We would like to hear from those who had or have completion dates in December ‘20, January ‘21, and February ‘21, if you have had delays, for how long, and what specific items led to the delays?

We were notified on Oct. 17 of possible supply shortages that could delay our Nov.6 completion date. They were waiting on the furnace, heat strip and finally the oven.
I've heard that others have had to wait for awnings and aluminum wheels.
They did acquire a batch of ovens from a different vendor but since our counter top was already cut out for the standard oven these would not work for us.
Escape notified us recently that some ovens had arrived and they would be installing one in our trailer. They also verified that it is a post recall unit.
We're hoping to have the trailer delivered by the end of Jan. 2021.
Have you contacted Escape regarding possible delays to your completion? They should be able to give you a supply chain update give you an idea if delays are possible.
Good luck with your completion and enjoy your new trailer.

Our 5.0 is due completion Thursday, January 21st. We have received pictures of the build and all items are there except the heater and the aluminum wheels however we haven't been contacted yet about any delays. We haven't received the final build pictures which they said we'd get on the completion date. I'll update when I have more information.

My trailer was due during when the covid 19 pandemic started and they shut down. I was told it would be delayed a month. after they went back to work mine ended up being done a a month sooner than expected. So i guess the answer is you never know. Did you watch the new video. according to that the supply issues have been resolved .

Yes, I did watch the video and that’s what got me thinking that maybe it would be safe to start making reservations.

Ours was due to be finished May 19, 2020, and was only delayed about 2 weeks. Took about 3 weeks to coordinate the delivery to NY.

I picked up my Escape 19 on September 8 in Sumas. Obviously I had to leave well before that date to get there.
I took delivery with only a partial install of the manual awning.
The electronic door lock was not available and a credit was given for that item.
Escape arranged to have the awning shipped direct from Carefree to a local dealer and it was installed on December 15. It took less than an hour for the install.
I purchased an RV Lock on Black Friday and installed it my self.

I waited a few weeks hoping the awning would arrive but took delivery without it. my hope was to be able to go back up in April and get it but I may have to have it shipped, too.

Our 19 was due to be complete 12/10, but furnace and aluminum wheels were in short supply. Long story short: delivery is scheduled for this Tuesday!
