Did you have your Escape delivered?

I would really like to hear from members who have had their Escape delivered. How did it work out? Where there any issues? Did your camper arrive unharmed?

Thank you.

We had our 21 delivered to CO.
The delivery team, husband and wife, did a super job. At the end of each day they e-mailed me with their location and revised ETA.
I picked a suitable location to meet, sent them the coordinates and sure enough, they were there as scheduled.
The trailer was dirty from wet and snowy weather but no damage of any type. They used a shrink wrap sort of material to cover the front. They made sure I got it all hitched up properly to my tow vehicle, answered my questions, etc.

My trailer is the one in the back. The other was heading to Dallas, TX.

Very pleased with the entire process. Of course I expected as much from ETI.

Looks like they cover the lead side with blue plastic these days, no such luck in 2014. The front of my trailer was covered with 3300 miles worth of bugs. I did need to have the hitch installed before delivery (5th wheel) as it was used to get the trailer off the carrier.

There were no orientation videos at the time so I had to make due with the manual to figure out the things I didn't already know, no such problem now. Not a big deal as I had had a trailer of sorts before.

The down side was the cost and not being able to see the PNW.

I had my first 2 Escapes delivered and picked up my last 2 in Chilliwack. I was a caregiver and my time away was critical was the reason for delivery. Both of mine were "shared" to save costs. The first one, pictured involved 2 E19's, one for myself and another for a couple from out of state. They were newbies and I offered to give them a orientation to the trailer as well as camping. They drove up to my house for delivery and we hitched up and went to a local cg for the weekend where I went over my unit as well as showed them how to operate the awning and other features on their Escape.
The driver was the same for both of my deliveries (I think his name was Dave?) and he kept in touch via phones calls for ETA. I gave him a $20 tip and pointed out a nearby Italian Restaurant that had a large parking lot for his set up where he could get some good food vs gas stop food. You have to consider his overall length when giving them directions, some places can be hard to squeeze into.

Here's a way to get it delivered if you're 1.5cm tall

We had ours delivered. It was to arrive almost two weeks prior to our actually getting it. I don't know the actual reason as to why it was scheduled to be delivered by Escape and then was not on the date given, but there was nothing we could do about it. The driver offered to compensate us for the lateness, but never did. Would we do it again - yes we would. It was cheaper then us driving up there to pick it up.
