In the first lot, the RVs are all backed into spots which were laid out for going in forward, judging from the arrow on the pavement. If traffic actually followed the arrow, the turn to back in would be unreasonable, and I can see why people would have problems. If they were going the direction to suit the backing-in (enter to the viewer's right, exit to viewer's left), then that's an easy maneuver without a trailer and any problems for motorhomes were with driver competence, not vehicle size.
