Does size really matter aka Small Man Syndrome ...

We took our Escape 17B for a short trip down to Tulalip. When we arrived, there were only a few RV's in the RV lot. We went out shopping for a few hours and when we returned, it was like driving straight into a B movie - Parked in the Valley of the Giants. We were surrounded - literally - by some humongous trailers and motor coaches. (Of course we had the last laugh watching some of these guys trying to maneuver their blimps).

Before heading home, we stopped in at Cabellas and parked in their RV lot.
The semi rig next to us probably could have fit four 17's in it!

Hi: LBaranyai... It's comforting to know...everyone was looking at your small, cute rig. No one was looking at the "Behemoths". Alf

In the first lot, the RVs are all backed into spots which were laid out for going in forward, judging from the arrow on the pavement. If traffic actually followed the arrow, the turn to back in would be unreasonable, and I can see why people would have problems. If they were going the direction to suit the backing-in (enter to the viewer's right, exit to viewer's left), then that's an easy maneuver without a trailer and any problems for motorhomes were with driver competence, not vehicle size.
