As much as possible we try to encourage Mikey to frequent the neighbours' lawns and the public pathways. Parks, driveways, and beaches are also favourites. We never scoop because that would be considered polite and sanitary. When people complain, we just make a rude gesture and saunter off. Its the Canadian way.

Maybe cuz some don't like it when cat owners start yakking away about the habits of their kitties? Which is an important discussion for those that want to travel with their kitties.

Or maybe, just because it's funny to ask.

Here at home, when I'm lucky, Jake heads for the tall grass prairie or the pheasant restoration acres, if not, any where the urge hits him. Last year we were on the end of the first row of trailers at Osoyoos, where Ian the proud Canadian was with his boler this year. The large grassy area in the curve, was used by nearly every passing pooch. I will say virtually every owner used the bag and cleaned up after their pet. Having built and managed two municipal dog parks, I have some stories.

I did not read the responses before posting so I answered seriously. . I consider myself a keen observer of animal behavior and whether you're serious or not doesn't matter to me. Course I've bought quarts of red fox urine as a cover scent to spray on my clothes over the years and know how to predict and influence wild animal behavior. I'll talk about just about anything, including otter toilets. Look it up.

Sedro-Woolley's "Bark Park" is across the street from its RV park, so I've been sitting outside and watching the dogs and their owners for entertainment. The park seems to work as intended and everyone is happy. It gets quite a bit of use, and most users aren't camped at the RV park.
