Don't See These Too Often!

A Bowlus Road Chief.
Actually I've never heard of them before! Ontario plates.

I saw two of them together in Northern California when we went to the Escape Tally in 2016. Had never seen one before, haven’t seen one since. Good spot and nice picture.

There's been threads where they've been mentioned previously. Some interesting history there.

Aluminum isn't my first choice for shell material and the door in the front is a non-starter for me. Some love the shape etc. but me, not so much.

Saw one of these 2 years ago at Sugar Pine Point State Park in Lake Tahoe. You probably don't see more because of the price! Three models cheapest $260,000 midrange $285,000 top of line $310,000. Those are class A prices.

I saw one at Desert Trails RV park outside of Tucson a couple years ago. Very neat looking in a space age kind of way. Over 200,000 as I recollect. To steep for me.

Quick article on the Bowlus Road Chief. I think you might say they really retain their resale value.

I met a couple on in their first day out in their new Bowlus Endless Highways (starts at $235,000.00) at Henry Horton State Park in TN in 2019.

We saw one in Tillamook Oregon and then saw another one a about 6 days later near Santa Monica. Funny because I'd never seen one before and I've never seen one since.

Imagine spending that much money on a trailer, and still having a hand-crank tongue jack.
