2 ,6 Gal, 1 ,5 gal and 1 ,3 gal . Depending how water may be needed gives us 20 more gal. Sometimes we just need say the 5 gal . Sometimes all 20 to give us total 40 gal . Then we bring 3 gal for drinking with Dolphin pump .We have 4 of those 3 gal at home having our water distiller for 26 years . Need enough water for our shower every night . Pat

If you travel with dogs or pets, bring water and food from home. We carry a 5G container for 2 dogs with home water, realized early on stomach issues from drinking "away" water. I carry another 2G water in the refer for coffee and drinking. This will last us 2 weeks to/fro Osoyoos trips. Also the IGA store in Osoyoos sells bulk spring water for refills.

I've been to Osoyoos a dozen times and don't recall there being any issues with the water. Did you taste it Jim, or just buy water that probably came from a municipal tap anyway?

You are missing my point, Osoyoos has great water and our choice of refill over a 9600 kilo trip, it is the turn around point for return. Nothing between it and home. We fillup at home and again at Osoyoos for the return portion.

Forgot about , yes we also bring water from home for our dogs . None of us drink the water from the trailer tank . The trailer tank water is for dishes, showers . Separate water from home to drink . Pat

Hey Mitch, I had a first year Lance 1575, until the slide motor went out. sold it and came over to the Escape world.

Jim many trailers ,motor homes etc use the slide motors . I can’t tell you how many times we have watched 5 th wheels , motorhomes and trailers needing the traveling RV repair come out and fix the motor slide on their rv’s . Reason for us to not want awning motors and just use a manual . Pat

Maybe some of the mobile techs are better but the RV service industry needs to be bolstered with more techs and better training. I've shared this before but it is sad that I had to study the schematics, diagnose and fix the massive 25’ slide on my neighbors Winnebago Adventurer Class A when the shop improperly diagnosed the problem. Only one tech at Winnebago (that you pay to speak to) provided any decent information. He was ready to take it out to the factory. It shouldn’t have to be this hard to get decent work done by a shop!

Would not mind a no slideout trailer. A slideout or pullout on bearings instead of the current 1970's thinking would be trouble free. The 23 possible floor plans would be better adding an extra foot or two IMO.

On my Lance there was no back up system, it failed, stuck in water Never again! At least the power awning can be manually retracted.

Just unplug from your tow vehicle and place a 15A fuse in between the top two pins on the trailer side plug. This bridges the 12V+ black (backfeed from trailer battery) and the running lights (green). It works. I know because I have done it.

yeah, before going fiberglass we looked at a bunch of sticky cab-overs and trailers, and its like they *ALL* have slide-outs now, and it just took me one good look at that mechanism to realize I didn't want anything to do with those.

You are so right Dave ! When at a lake with Linda’s family time to leave well the huge slide on the motorhome , failed just 2 years old . Had to leave until slide could be put back in to drive home . Really don’t want those issues . Pat

If your interested in shipping from the Europe, if's allowed....Fiberglass and slide out in one. It looks massive compare to the 5.0TA. Ground clearance looks like a major problem but once you look inside, WOW, walk around bed, couch, spacious bath. I haven't converted the price or weight but no need to, I'm not upgrading from mine just yet.

Beautiful trailer. Not molded fiberglass though. These are constructed with vacuum formed panels similar to how a lot of trailers are made in N. America I believe.
