Escape 19 measurements for Calmark Cover

Hi all,
We are receiving are new Escape 19 trailer in the middle of this May. I would like to get a jump start on ordering a Calmark Custom cover for are new trailer. But I can't do this until I have some good measurements to send to Calmark Cover Company. So my question is does anyone have measurement for a Escape 19 trailer with air conditioning on the trailer but without the added storage box on the front tongue?
Thanks
Mark

I measured my 19 last year for my Calmark cover and will share them with you if you will provide an email address.

Escape 19 dimensions for Calmark

Here's what I sent Calmark when I ordered last fall. In the interest of full disclosure there were some quality issues that Calmark has promised to take care of if spring ever arrives in Ohio. But overall it did the job and protected the trailer during a brutal winter.

Does Calmark not keep the dimensions on file. You think they would.

SeldonSeen, Thanks for the measurements. It was beautiful done. I ordered CalMark cover before for my Casita. The fibre was high quality. I plan to order the cover for my 19 ft. Do you need to include extra Width for the awning? May I have the Thumbnail pictures? I will send you a PM.

That's what you would think but they told me over the phone they did not have any dimension for the Escape trailers. But they said they where trying to work with ETI to come up with trailer dimensions.

You can right-click on the pictures and save them to your picture file. I have over 100 pictures from this forum that I saved before, during and after my trailer was built...couldn't have made all those decisions without them!

Calmark asks for dimensions without the air conditioner, and awning. Which is why I sent the photos showing the roof. They told me that there were tentative plans to send someone to Chilliwack to measure the different models.

Seldon Seen can you please tell me what your measurement is in the picture that show the top of your trailer with the awing? After looking more closely today at your pictures I realized I couldn't read that measurement.
Thanks
Mark

Sorry about that. I tried to post a PDF of the entire document but it was too large. In any case...here's what the note says on that shot:

The rear bumper extends about 5” from body (as measured from the belly band)
The spare tire extends about 11” from the body.

By the way Mark, we pulled a Coleman tent trailer for over 20 years. The '19 is going to feel like a palace after the Jayco.

When I ordered for my 17 they sent along a black/white drawing of a trailer, with air conditioner shown, and it was pretty simple to insert the numbers. They will allow for the awning. I've been pretty happy with mine. It does fit kind of loose, so it billows a bit in the wind, which I think is a good thing. They come with a drawstring at the bottom to snug them up, but I've elected not to use it, since I found it created pockets where rainwater would gather.

I also ordered a separate cover for the front storage box and propane tanks. I gave them pretty specific dimensions, which they did not follow, and I had to send it back for re-working. It's still not quite the way I would like it, but am not going to fuss with it...it works.

I don't have an image that shows the door side. The 5er next door at the storage lot is just a little close,

Karen,
Thanks. I was not computer savvy. SeldomSeen was helpful and did send me the file.

Hi all,
Just order my cover from Calmark Cover Co today for my new Escape 19 with shipping to Wisconsin the total cost was $673.00 ouch!!! But I have to say that I priced some custom made covers from a locale dealer and there was no was real savings. But one thing the locale Cover manufacture would not make the cover for my trailer until I personally took the trailer to him to be measured. So since I did not want to wait until after I received my new trailer to order a cover I just went ahead and ordered the cover from Calmart.

Awning shops, sailmakers, canvas shops, upholsterers will all do custom work.
