Escape 19 Size vs Oliver 22
Just saw the new Oliver 22. They seem about the same size as a 19, not really 3 feet longer and about an inch narrower. Could someone please provide the measurement of the isle width, between the kitchen and the closet on the 19. I assume the total interior width is 80" as that's the queen bed size on the layout plan. I don't want to call ETI, I've bugged them enough about getting a build date and don't want to go to the bottom of the list!
Thanks in advance.
Barry

The Oliver 22 is comparable to the Escape 21, except narrower, not the 19 Escape. There should be dimensions on both websites. I believe all Olivers are 7 wide whereas the 21' is 7.5 wide. Oliver's are double hulled, aluminum frame, and weigh about 1000 more than an comparable Escape. They have shocks and axle springs vs torsion suspension.

Aisle width
Barry,
The isle width on my 19 between the kitchen cabinets and the cabinet with the closet is 34 1/2 inches.

Jim, I don't know if you have seen the new Oliver but inside they seem about the same as the 19, perhaps because the bathroom is taking up the extra feet and don't feel as long as the 19, end to end. I'm unfamiliar to the difference between torsion vs axle/shocks.

Yes, I have seen them several times, both last year and this year in Tennessee, both models, the 17 and the 22. The visual feeling is caused by the lack of the front window, but the 22' is bigger than the 19', but narrower. Also the Oliver is more rounded front and rear whereas the Escape mold has the flat ends for the windows. Some Olivers do not have the rear windows either.

So are the builders of the Oliver: when the Oliver was new, they claimed that the suspension was the optimal design, but when I asked them how they determined this, they had no explanation and admitted to no comparison of design or experience with other designs. They do use shock absorbers, but the Oliver suspension is entirety conventional... just as Escape's Torflex is the conventional practice among moukded fiberglass trailers.
