I have two key racks (cat themed, of course) on the wall above the flip up counter ETI installs when you get the extended cabinet. My keys go on there right away, as well as my sunglasses, which are Cocoons and in their own individual cases.
I did put some sticky-backed felt just underneath the rack that holds the keys as I got real tired, real quick, of hearing the keys swing back and forth against the wall. The felt stopped that noise right away!

Our thanks to you all for the help and feedback. It seems 50/50 either way with relevant pros and cons for both. We are going to stay with the cabinet. or maybe not - just joking but it has driven us a bit mad. The thinking time is over now at last!

one thing ours does not have that I wish it did is the outside shower. our tent trailer had that, and it got used a lot. I'm thinking of installing one myself, street-side, near the water heater.

Hi John, I am curious to your reasoning for the outside shower on the drivers side. Due to the DW seeing the outside "sink option" on the passenger side we will have an outside shower there.
If your reasoning for the drivers side is the stinky slinky I would assume you do a lot of full hook ups, as I understand it there is water at (most) dump sites.
Thanks, Ronn

Here is illustrated instructions for posting photos:
http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f3...otos-9057.html
We use the outside shower for showering (washing hair, feet ). It's on the driver side so that you don't track mud into the trailer. I take an all-weather floor mat out of the RAV to stand on and to prevent mud from splashing up. ( that's not me in the pic )

Thanks Glenn, I didn't quite do it this way but plan to in the future/ I had saved your handy directions before but couldn't find them. I have redone my "filing system" so hopefully I can find them easier in the future.
As a side note, people are surprised my name has two "n"s, I bet you never get that question.

Before they can comment, I say, "the second 'n' is silent".

A fishing buddy and former co-worker. He had my permission.

If the shower was located further forward you could wash that mud off of the front of your trailer.

don't want the water from using the outside shower on my curb side where we setup to sit outside. on the curb side, I typically have a small table near the outside outlets, assuming i've got AC power, used for charging stuff, etc.
