Escape 21 Ordered
I ordered an Escape 21 today. I would like to thank Mary F for allowing me to come see her 21. A thank you to Charlie and Lucy for letting me check out their 5.0 T/A. I was not interested in buying a 5.0 T/A but it was the first Escape I had seen and I was most anxious to check any Escape that I came across. They were all very obliging in giving me a tour and to answer my many questions. I gave the lady on the phone your names and hope you all get credit for it. The build date is in July 2017 and I am planning to go get it the following month.

Welcome to the Escape club, James Gang!
I'm showing my age but my first thought was the Jesse James Gang. Little did I know there's a musical group out there with the same name. I'm so behind the times.

Not to agree with you Karen, but the James Gang dates to the late 60's - 50 years ago....

Well, my grandfather was Jesse James, but not the outlaw. When I was a kid, I asked him if we were related to Frank and Jesse James. His reply was he did not think so, but an uncle of his thought we were. Many years later, I found out that my great great-grandfather was an outlaw and met an ignominious ending in the Big Thicket area of East Texas. My James ancestors came to Texas from Missouri after the Civil War. So who knows? I am thinking of putting graphics on the trailer saying 'Escape of the James Gang'. So many here name their Escape and I thought that it sounded cool.

Crimininy, I was still in college back then. I think I grew up on a different planet than everyone else.
And I think that "Escape of the James Gang" is a great name.

Nah, I think it's just one of those bands you know by sound and not by name. Remember this? Lead guitar and vocals by Joe Walsh, who later joined the Eagles...

Oh, and Barton, I like the name idea.

Hi James Gang,
Welcome to this forum, as you have found there is a wealth of information here! I can easily say that this group and their support made buying our 21 an easy choice! We are eagerly awaiting our delivery in August!

Hey, Barton! That is great news. I probably told you we (only) had a lead time of 9 months on ours, but it flew by. And there's lots to decide as the weeks and months pass... Yours will be the new version. I hope to see it at a rally one day! All the best to the rest of the gang!
