No worries mate! Ken and I had a good rapport before his health problems forced the sale of his Escape.

We tend to think our trailers are the only ones with window fails but thermal window problems both framed and frameless have been around for years.

Most large cities have a RV window repair vendor that can fix our window issues for a reasonable cost. Not too sure about trying to do it myself but obviously if kits are available, someone is doing it.

I believe Ken had a couple of spares. Hope he is doing okay, we miss him.

This one failed for me too, though the only one, the rest are still fine. Are your summers 15 minutes long? That is about how long the exchange took.

I had a good look in the 21NE on Friday. I really like the layout myself much more than the original. The dinette is a bit big is my only critique, otherwise a great option. Karl said they are near half of the new 21 sales.

BTW, I got to see some new layouts for the 23, including 3D modelling, and I just have to say that if anyone is considering that trailer, there are some great ideas being worked on. Stay tuned.

Glad to hear that the effort they put into redesigning a second interior has been worth while. It was a big and quick step for the new owners.
I am sure they have all the facts...just wondering if if some of the 19 sales went to the new 21.
The dinette is big for two but maybe not so much for a family.

I bet there are a few who opted for the 21NE instead of the 19, but then many will like the 19 for being smaller, lighter and a bit cheaper.

A big family with the dinette.

Escape is doing a great job working to please more differing customers. I really enjoyed meeting Karl and getting some idea on their future plans.

I almost switched to the 21NE. if you adding options on the 19 like the big fridge, kitchen window , u shaped dinette then the 21 NE might be a better way to go. I was very close even have a build sheet figured out. But after thinking of what we need personal (just me and wife and dog) decided the 19 is better for us. we love the 17 casita just wanted a little bigger bed and bigger table. The 19 has a bigger table than the 21NE of course the 21NE has the u shaped dinette thats a plus. Then we took a look at my TV Tacoma. The few hundred pounds more and extra hitch weight.

those of you that been in the 21NE i know the counter is 5" longer than 19' but it appears that the wardrobe is the same size as the 19 I would have thought it be bigger. I started looking we know the fridge and bath are the same size so the only place to put that room is in the wardrobe.I haven't confirmed this but looking at pictures looks like the distance on both side of the wardrobe is bigger on the 21ne than the 19.

so 19 for us just down to the last few decisions, foam, high lift, big fridge

Karl from Escape originally said the counter in the 21NE was actually 2” less in length than the 19.

We have a 2017 5.0TA this past summer our bathroom window glass separated. Due to the cost to have one shipped from Escape we ended up sealing the panes together with silicone glue and it has held up really well, we drove about 6000 miles since the repair and no problems.

We also got the Hehr frameless windows with our 2017 Escape 19 and so far have had no issues with separation. No idea where they were manufactured. I do handle them with care making sure not to over tighten them when closing. Hope I don't jinx myself. We like the look of these windows as well being able to have them open in the rain.

No problem here with 2017 frameless windows, but we didn't get the smaller kitchen or bathroom window and those seem to be the main problem point.

I definitely would go frameless again. They seal way better than the sliding ones on the Bigfoot I have now.
