Escape in New Brunswick

Hi all,

We’re new owners of a 2008 escape we recently acquired from Escape Industries.
We were 3 weeks into a 10-week journey that was to take us from New Brunswick across Canada and return thru the USA. We were passing by Chiliwack in our Trillium Outback and ventured into the Escape plant to check out their campers. It was our lucky day. Someone traded their Escape for a honker and it ended up in Chiliwack. Although we enjoyed our Outback tremendously, we felt that we couldn’t pass on an opportunity to drive away with 4 more feet of fiberglass.

We’re hauling the Escape with our Toyota minivan and we haven’t noticed any difference whatsoever in performance or fuel mileage between the 13’ Outback and the Escape 17b, which has to be 500 to 600 lbs heavier.

We traveled from BC to California and then east to Florida. We traveled over mountains, thru deserts, camped amongst the redwoods and the casinos of Las Vegas. We spent 3 weeks in Florida and then home to New Brunswick. There were no surprises, no glitches whatsoever with the camper. The Escape is a great camper and we love everything about it. There are lots of nice fiberglass campers on the market but in our opinion, the Escape stands out in quality and appearance. We’ll miss the Outback but are looking forward to many great travels in the Escape. Anyone down east who may be interested in having a look should contact us. We’d love to show it.

Re: Escape in New Brunswick

Welcome to the Escape family in Eastern Canada. I believe there are now two in the Maritimes - You and us. There is one in NL (I believe) but that's part of Atlantic Canada - not considered maritimes. We picked up our Escapei (17B) May past. Looking forward to meeting you and comparing notes and stories.
