Caught a glimpse of a very nice escape 21 coming out of the Canadian tire in Kenora, Ontario on July 6. I was going west and they were going east.

two Escapes on a double site
While walking around the Coldstream Camping site in E. C. Manning Provincial Park in BC, I spotted two Escapes in a double site. One was a 2008 17B, the other a Escape 21. The couple in the 21 are "Parent in Laws" of Tammy and Reece of Escape fame. The 21 is being sold (already gone) as the couple are taking delivery of a 2017 21. The 17B is a unit that Escape holds for staff to use if they want to go camping. Apparently it is not being used enough and is going to be sold in the near future. Even though I live a 45 minute drive from the Escape plant in Chilliwack, I have only seen two other Escapes in the past year. I could not believe my eyes when I say those two in the campground. Counting my 17B, that was three Escapes in the same campground. Wonder what the odds of that are outside of some sort of rally.

We have only had our 17B for a year but we have never seen another one outside of the Rally and in the ETI parking lot.
But then we are never listed as an Escape sighting so we must be way off the beaten track.

Just saw a 19 leaving a gas station in Hope, BC and heading east. We are heading east with our 17.

Just finished a 3100+ round trip from NorCal to Southern Colorado, then up to Nor Colorado and on home. Noe another 300 miles to Ferndale, CA. Not a single escape! Is no one traveling? I did, however, see the Scamp (?) that is painted a dark blue and covered with giant Sunflowers going the other way. I think pics of it have been posted? Also saw an Oxygen parked in the Camping World parking lot in Rocklin CA

John, I see them everywhere, but mostly on my driveway If you live in Fleetwood, then its probably yours that I see every morning as I drive to work. Last week we saw a 19' in Pauls Lake Provincial Park near Kamloops. The owners were from Abbottsford. On the trip home we ran into Pyro Patty from Maple Ridge and her 19' in Merritt. ... and then we saw one somewhere along the Coquihalla Hwy.

That's rare.
I find it interesting that while Escape Trailer Industries has continuously grown over a decade based entirely on a line of moulded fiberglass travel trailers, trying to introduce just one moulded fiberglass model (the Oxygen) drove Bonair into bankruptcy.

Customer satisfaction is key to success and the people behind a business can make a tremendous impact on the success of a product. Tammy and Reace have set a great example regarding how to run a successful business and keep customers happy (maybe that is the same thing?). I suspect that Bonair was missing something that ETI has.

I saw a Bonair ( used, I think ) sitting outside the main arena at an RV show that was attended by Escape.
I thought it weirdly squished looking and didn't bother to look inside. Checked out the Escape 17 and a Nash and made my decision.

The 19 in Hope and on the Coquihalla on Thursday this week was probably us. On our recent trip north we saw a 19 in Dawson Creek, a 5.0 TA in Prince George, a 17 in Jasper, a 19 in McBride, a 5.0 single axle in Kamloops, and several around Chilliwack on the highway (a 5.0 TA and a 19 we think). We had several folks on the road and at the campsites ask about Escape trailers and showed three different people the trailer (folks from Bellingham, California and Williams Lake). This is the most Escapes we have ever seen on the road.

The only year that Bonair produced the Oxygen was 2002, the same year that Reace and Tammy started Escape. It could have been the last of Bonair crossing paths with the first year Escape as new products, it could have been old stock of a Bonair dealer, or it could have been used.
The outside of the Oxygen was a bit strange, and the rounded tail never made sense to me (except to re-use the mould shape of the front), but I think that the inside was clever use of the odd space. Escapes, in contrast, are more functional... and with a exterior shape that was a quarter-century old to start, more conservative.
If you ever spot an Oxygen on the road, it's easy to recognize - no wondering if it's some other brand.

We thought it odd that in the whole time we were in Alaska, about 6 weeks, we never saw an Escape. We saw about 3 in BC/Yukon on our way through. But none in Alaska? Curious

It may be 2X size of Texas, but the highway system is not that vast. And, yes, we saw everything aluminum there was to see, along with a few Casitas. Actually the Alaska roads aren't bad, and they are being repaired all the time. We did have a muddy day on Top of the World Highway, and we did not go north of Fairbanks.

Escape sighting?
Just saw a 19' with red graphics towed by a Highlander, filling up at a gas station in Monte Vista, CO. After watching a parade, I dove in across the street at a coffee shop to get my daily dose of caffeine and wifi. I'm currently staying just outside of Del Norte at a friends ranch. Been on the road for almost a month and it's the first Escape I have seen this trip!

We saw an Escape 17 yesterday, on the east side of Cottonwood Pass, CO 306, at 5:00 pm. I think the graphics were gray.
