Just picked up our new 5.0 TA Nov 8th. On the way home in Washington, at a rest stop, I looked in my side mirror, as I was about to pull out, & saw an Escape behind us on the other side of the road. Puzzled? How could I be seeing our trailer back there like that? Then is dawned on me that it was a "cousin" Escape, not us. As a watched, the door of the tow vehicle opened, & a man lept out, running toward us. We jumped out & met him half way. His wife followed him. Jim & Cheryl, heading for snow bird country, from Kamloops, BC (Forum handle Escapisms). Lovely couple! How's that for an Escape sighting?

Nice story ! Yeah you don't see many escapees, but when you do... they jump out at you!

Watching Mad Max Fury Road and I've not seen an Escape yet, or any sign of a plot.

Keys
DH and I were driving south on Route 1 in the Florida Keys on/about Dec. 16, and we barely caught an Escape out of the corners of our eyes. -We were looking for a nice beach to pull over for a picnic, so we didn't get a good look at any other identifying marks. It was around 2 pm, in Marathon.
We ARE seeing all of those monster RV's with all of the slide outs, however
Cheers! Artlady

No plot but sure is plenty of action. It's the kinda movie you can watch and don't have to really pay much attention too. I thought it was entertaining though.

I watched it at home in 3D, action indeed! Felt a little tired when it was over... No Escapes in the movie, just like there are no Escapes on the move here in the Shuswap. With snow covering my 19, it takes on a dystopian kind of atmosphere out there too!

Never heard of Shuswap before but you peaked my interest. The place is absolutely beautiful. Nature at it's finest.
Hope to check out the area in person when I make the long trek from Houston, TX to Chilliwack to pick up my trailer this summer. Heck, what's another 3 hours. Stay warm, if you can.

About to leave Ralph's in Los Osos when around the corner comes CraigJ pulling his 5.0&TA with a 1998(modified) Ford Ranger! Definitely had to talk with him, but had to get in line as another couple in a new Chevy Canyon pulled in behind him to check it out.

After the 2017 rally we are heading to the Shuswap then circling around to Whistler. A bit of a southern BC loop.

Looks like you have a real nice trip planned. Nice way to top off the Escape appreciation rally. That time of year the weather ought to be pretty nice. May see ya' at the rally, depends on when we are actually able to pick up our trailer.

Yup - we are hopeful of good weather. Last time we were at a rally Osoyoos was so hot (a natural desert) and then our trip through the Kootenays was soggy. This time 'round the sun will be following us.
We are looking forward to touching base with everyone at the rally

Spotted the first Escape we have seen in these parts in Anza Borrego Desert State park, Palm Canyon. We headed out from Carlsbad, Ca for a quick 3 day getaway with the Scamp. Beautiful here!

Interesting comment over on FGRV that Scamp builds around 450 units a year. with Escape doubling their output to 2 per day, they should exceed this number next year.

Was told by a friend that he spotted an Escape 17 in Chapel Hill Tennessee last week. Wondering if it was anyone on this forum? I'm guessing that maybe it was someone camping at Henry Horton state park?
