I would not be surprised anymore since Escape is 4 season now https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...tml#post324245

South Padre Island, Texas

Spotted an Escape 21 with dark red graphics being pulled by a white SUV heading towards South Padre Island. It was driving west on Texas 100, just west of Los Fresnos. Spotted it about 4:40 PM on February 15th.

We were super excited to see our first Escape on the road today: a 21ft, teal graphics, at the Lynden boarder crossing. We're so very ready to pick ours up in a couple months. The wait is killing me.

Escape Sighting

My Escape scouts inform me that around Noon today they passed what they thought was an
Escape 19 near Williamsburg Iowa on I 80. The pic they sent showed black graphics and the
old style hatch cover over the water hookups. Good luck to you, I know you’ll be back in Ontario tomorrow or Friday for sure if that’s your plan.

Kings Canyon Sighting

Today, on our way to Sequoia RV Park, adjacent to Kings Canyon NP an Escape beeped at us -- they were going in the opposite direction and we just had a quick glimpse of lime green -- we think it might have been a 21. We'd like to know what they did while they were here because the national park is still closed.

Saw a big 'stork' bringing 2 baby Eggs to their parents today in NorCal, going southbound on 680. Congrats to the new owners of these mighty fine looking 19 & 5.0 Escapes!! -Bea

Saw 2 Escape 17's near Edmonton AB today.

We saw a 17 Escape today on Highway 16 and they went off to Highway 44 pulled by a white pickup, not sure what kind.

20 minutes late saw another 17 in St. Albert pulled by a grey SUV, again not sure what kind. The odd thing about this one was their Max Air vent seemed to be loose? The outer vent housing would move up and down whenever they hit a bump, we did not get a chance to pull up beside them to let them know, hopefully they find out soon, unless there is a different kind of vent Escape had put in in the past?
It looked like the whole vent housing was flapping up and down.
I am hoping they see this post if they are on this forum, they had Alberta Plates on the 17.

I saw a 21 this morning (Sunday, 6/21) about 10am heading south on I-5 in the general vicinity of Longview, WA. I was heading the opposite direction, so I didn't get time to get any more detail.

The knob that is used to open or close the vent is also used to lock the vent in whatever position is selected. I can't remember if you push or pull, but they didn't have it locked, which is why it was bouncing. You can drive with it open, but you need to lock it.

Push in to lock. Manual opening models only. Automatic opening models still have a knob but it doesn’t lock. It is only there to allow a user to close the vent if there is a loss of power or other issue.

We have just returned from a trip from Delta B.C. to 100 Milehouse. Stayed at Coldstream a Provincial Campsite in Maning park, Forestry site Granite Creek and Boss Lake. Then to Provincial Park Monk campsite and Bridge Lake. Next forestry Campsite Howard's lake and finally Provincial Park Goldpan on the Thompson River. We saw and spoke to the owners of five of the escape trailers . One 21, two 19 and five 17. That was the most we have ever seen in one trip.

We were on our way home from the Ralph River campground in Strathcona Provincial Park at about 11 am today and spotted an Escape 15 with two kayaks on the roof of the tug headed northward on BC Highway 19, just south of Campbell River. There are lots of great options for ocean kayak touring up that way, either in the inside waters of Georgia Straight or on the open ocean of the wild west coast. The weather is spectacular right now, and we hope those Escapees have a great time!

Drove through the Taidnapam campground on Riffe Lake in Lewis County, WA on Thursday July 16 on our way home from a trip, just to check it out and saw a 19 that had cat decals all over it, and a 5.0 with light blue graphics.

Kye Bay campground near Comox, BC

On my bike ride near home this morning I spotted the Escape 21 of Chris and Patricia in the Kin Beach campground at Kye Bay near Comox, BC. They are on their way to Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Chris showed me a photo of their trailer and four others on a beach in Mexico from a pre-pandemic trip. They like their 21 for the same reasons we appreciate ours. Nice folks!

Out for a drive tonight. Stopped by a county park in an adjacent county where we have camped in the past. 86 campsites 84 camp sites in use. Surprised to see any fiberglass. A 13 Scamp is one thing but to see two fiberglass campers out of 84 is rare in these parts. The second camper, a very shiny 2017 5.0 TA owned by some very nice folks from Iowa City and licensed in Johnson county where F.W.Kent park is located. We talked to them for a few minutes . Had no idea this 21 was within 30 minutes of where we live. Again, as I often say “You never know”.
