The wife and I stood on that corner just last November! (And enjoyed lunch on an adjacent corner.)

There is a flatbed Ford parked in front. The young ladies were working in the ice cream and sandwich shop on the other corner.

Davis Mountain State Park meeting

Glad to meet Mary O and her E19 at Davis Mountain State Park, Ft. Davis, TX. Nice to have two Escape trailers at one of our favorite camping locations.

Saw an Escape 21 today 1/23 headed North on the I-15 just north of Las Vegas. It was pulled by some kind of sprinter van.

Tehachapi encounter

Had a wonderful surprise this evening as WestCoast Jim and his E21 joined us at Mountain Valley RV Park in Tehachapi, CA. Had a nice chat, and Jim told us his great story about buying his E21. We look forward to crossing paths again.

That boudin sounds interesting, a lot better than "scrapple" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrapple

My daughter loves to go to Louisiana and to cook Cajun food. I was working for a guy years ago and he was setting up for a garage sale for the next day. He told me to look at his offerings and he’d give me a deal. He had a very large (thick) Cajun food cookbook that he’d bought in three trips to Louisiana. It was one of those plastic binder jobs and each section was priced at $15. He said “take it if you’ll use it”. I cooked up a couple things out of the book and put it on the shelf. When my daughter moved back to Iowa from Salt Lake City I gave her the book. They use it all the time. I like Cajun food if someone else is cooking. Just like scrapple.
