This morning at 8:25 am spotted a 17 pulled by white pickup just south of Morris MB on Hwy 75 heading to the border likely. This is first we've seen on a highway in at least two years.

My wife met with Richard and Melissa (Little Richie) at the Henry Lake State Park Campground, Idaho. They have a 2nd generation 5.0 TA with no graphics. They were leaving while we were setting up our Escape 21. Little Richie is from Glencoe, Illinois.

So, after 69 days, 8,000 miles, 16 states, and 4 provinces, we finally saw another Escape 19 this morning! Ruthe from NJ stopped by to say hello. We were both camped at Bald Eagle State Park near Howard, PA last night.

Returning from a trip to the sawtooths in idaho, turned down my street in boise following a 21. He thought I was kind of crazy when I pulled up next to him to give a shout out.

It’s kind of strange looking for fiberglass campers. I always “question” a sighting I make as legitimate if I’m on the way to a rally. However this year on the way to Osoyoos we saw three Escapes in 2000 miles all going the “other way”. I commented the other day that I had not seen a Bigfoot on the road maybe ever and then saw a 21 on the way to Colorado and a 25 in Illinois yesterday. Saw a compact Junior in New York State, looked like a “barn find” to me. Pretty rough. At Longview at the Bolerama there were 115 fiberglass units but only two Escapes, one of which was ours, and one Unik Go figure.

Just saw a 19 or 21 getting onto the Port Townsend ferry from the Whidbey side. It was likely being towed by something but I couldn't see that by the time I noticed it.

None here in the campground, though, except for me with my 15A.

Edit: a 19 pulled in!

Spotted a 5.0 headed up Goose Creek Canyon (Hwy 55, 4 miles east of New Meadows) toward McCall at 12:50 PM. Maybe with Oregon plates?

We saw a 5.0 TA today on Rt 100 In Waterbury Vermont heading toward Stowe. Red truck, camper with red graphics. They didn’t notice us, our 5.0 is at home in New Hampshire.

Escape sighting

To my knowledge, there are 3 Escape 5.0 TA’s in Maine... what’s chances you’ll catch two in the same place? Any guesses as to who they are?

Just back from a 4 week trip north to Haida Gwaii. Didn't see any escapes until the road home and wasn't able to say hello. Hope the 21 at Lakelse lake on July 16, the 5.0 on highway 16 east of Terrace July 17 and the 19 driving north on highway 97 near Williams Lake July 19th have a great trip!

Tsawwassen sighting

Spotted a 21, burgundy graphics turning off hwy.17 going south on 52nd street. Possibly coming off 10 am ferry.

We will be heading out in 2 weeks for Northern California. Hope to see some more escapes on the road.

Saw our first 5.0 TA in Wisconsin (besides ours) on Saturday heading north on I41 somewhere north of Milwaukee. Pulled by a dark Toyota pickup. Maybe heading to Oshkosh for EAA?

Spotted a 5.0 TA and 17 in nearly the same spot going west on fraser highway just past the Twilight Drive-in in the last 3-4 weeks.

We have been on the road for a week driving from southeast Texas to Chilliwack to pick up our new 5.OTA. Yesterday we had our first sighting of other Escapes and saw three within several hours of each other.

A 5.OTA, a 15 and a 19. All were eastbound on Interstate 90 between Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Butte, Montana. Now we are on the lookout for a 17, 21 and rare 13 to complete our Escape bingo card. [emoji4]

We are camped at Schoodic campground, Acadia National park, saw a 19 Escape at Blackwoods campground, Acadia National park. This far east that's almost a rally 😁

We are in Chilliwack after our drive from Coeur d’Alene. We saw two more Escapes. Another 15 just south of Grand Coulee Dam and a 17 on Hwy 3 in Canada. That’s five total for the trip.

We are traveling to Acadia the last week of September 2019 in our new Escape 21. That means that we have been to the western and eastern northern edge of the continental US this year, really 5 months apart.

Take a ride up to Quoddy Head lighthouse and you'll be as far east as you can get.
