Escapes for Sale
I just counted 7 Escapes for sale. Only been here for about a year but have not seen near so many before.
Isn't this unusual?
Lots of unusual stuff going on now.

A lot more people bought in the last year or 2 then their used to be. Figures that you'd see more used for sale. I think a lot of 1st time camper owners find out how small these really are, or find out what camping really is, as opposed to what you see on TV. Add in 30 million without work in the US and I can see why there may be more then in the past. At least that's how I see it.

True, out of work or reduced pay and not being able to go camping could contribute. But I think spring is a good time to sell, normally, so people often list then.

Seems to ebb and flow with the season. That and the factory is pumping them out faster over the last couple of years, so probably natural that you’ll see more used as of late.
Never seems to be many 21’s. Mostly 19’s and 17’s.

To answer your question I think there was a week in 2019 when there were 6 listed on one day. They were all there of a couple days but quick sales knocked out a couple within hours although the posting did not immediately come down. So let’s go with your comment as seven being the record. Good enough for me.

I think as the production numbers keep going up it olny natural to see more used for sale . also some of those thread have no response. I looked at used for a few years but never found one that was a deal that was close . Now that i have a new one ordered I hope resale still holds high. I think the inventory units will hurt the used market. some people just cant wait. In early spring escape had 28 inventory units for sale . Today its down to one.

I keep wondering why so many 19s. Do people start with a 19 and move up? The ones who start with 15s and 17s have a pretty good idea of the space. But maybe a 19 sounds right and then turns out to be too small? Or sounds right for a first trailer but they change their minds about camping? Or switch to a non-fiberglass for all the space? (Before they switch back to a 21?)

I can't speak for others, but in my case, our 2013 E19' was our first trailer that was not a pop-up. It seemed so luxurious after our Aliner, but two years later, we up-sized to our current 5.0 TA. The 3 main drivers for our decision were layout, 5th wheel towing characteristics, and more room/storage. Also since we were second owners of the 19', the opportunity to spec our 5.0 to our tastes and camping style was the final consideration for pulling the trigger.
(Note: the first owner also up-sized to a 5.0 but now has an Airstream.)

We sold our 19 last March and expecting our 21 next month. We started with an Rpod, then a 26 foot sticky, then the Escape 19 and now the 21. Each time saying it’s our forever trailer. Follow me over the next couple of years and patterns dictate I’ll have a 21 for sale at around 2022. But for now, the 21 is our forever trailer.

RV sales are hot right now. ETI has a ton of new orders right now. Some of those selling could be people upgrading to new Escapes. Others could have been waiting for a good time to sell.

If I followed that I'd have to sell half way through the maiden voyage.
