Exact height of 17B with ac

I’m wondering if a 17B with air conditioning will fit in my machine shed. Anyone know the exact height? Are different years different heights? Are high axle trailers higher than non?

Our 2015 17A (1st gen.) is 8'-7" to the highest point of the air conditioner. We have 15" tires. We do not have high lift.

Your 2006 model probably has 14" tires. so it's about an inch smaller in diameter, or ½" in trailer height difference.

I have 2019 17B, unfortunately I haven't measured it yet. However at orientation I asked that question. They told me with great confidence it was 8'4", I have the stock AC unit and regular suspension and tires.
If there wasn't a foot of snow on it I'd measure it today to confirm.
I suspect that's pretty close.

The antenna can be the high spot on some models, if you do not have one then those 8.7" numbers should be fine, unless you have the lift option. A 9' opening should allow for any of these little changes or if there is an angle at the entrance.

Shop header 8’ 8” about 1/2 inch clearance.

That is about as close as you can get, perhaps let a little air of of the tires for in/out extra room

Whoa! That’s really close. Curious why your 2015 is taller than the 2019? Different AC styles? Is yours a high axle? Does that make a difference?
My shed has dirt floor with plywood, I suppose I could scrape out 1/2 inch if need be. I’m looking for a newer used 17b with ac, something between 2011 and 2015, I think. My 2006 has high axle, plenty of clearance with no AC.

Okay you all got me wondering about my memory of header and trailer height. I’m a little better off now. After the first parking my trailer in shop I removed a 1/2” piece of plywood nailed to the bottom of the header which I had forgotten about. Remeasuring both trailer and header I got 8’ 7” trailer height (top of the AC) and 8’ 8” for the header now minus the 1/2” plywood. Picture taken before I removed the plywood.

You have a very nice trailer! I’m partial to gen1 escapes and looking for something older at a lower price. Good luck! You shouldn’t have any difficulty, especially in the spring!

I have the high-lift axels with regular tires and have confirmed with ETI that the height of my 2019 model 17B with A/C unit atop is 8.5 feet.

I just measured our half loaded, 2019, stock, 17B with AC and regular axle. At the highest point the AC its 8' 7", the tv antenna is about 3" lower than that.
