Flooring question

Does anyone happen to know the exact style (model # or color) linoleum used in the new Escapes? I am creating a Google Sketchup model of my 19' and would like a better match for the floor.

I can't tell you the exact numbers of the flooring used, but ETI sent this picture to me when I asked what their standard was.

(BTW, until I looked at the ETI information I hadn't seen the term "linoleum" used in decades, is that a BC thing? When I asked ETI about it they said that they didn't actually use linoleum, but did, indeed, use sheet vinyl flooring.)

Wikipedia, like Google, is your friend. Check out the back story on linoleum. It was once a product name, and is considered to be the first product to have had the name evolve into a generic term.

Yes, my parents called all sheet or non-ceramic tile "linoleum." I just hadn't seen the name used in many years. My mother also called all cameras "Kodaks." Here in the south all soda-pop is referred to as Coke, (even if it's Pepsi).

That settles it then, folks in Florida are weird.

Hmmm.....seems like a good place to visit.

Can't argue with that. We do, however, take a little comfort from our belief that folks from Alabama and Georgia are even weirder.

Hi: RooBarb... The only thing I played on, as a kid, was the "Linoleum"... Battleship if I remember? Alf

I remember collecting newspapers for the local church which then sold it to the local linoleum manufacturer to make the sheet stuff.
