I've seen the electronic rust inhibitors as well. There are many sellers, such as Rust Stop. No idea if they work or not, but it would be relatively easy to add to the trailer.

This is an example of the powered cathodic protection systems sold as aftermarket add-ons for vehicles. Cathodic protection is a critically important tool in the protection of submerged and buried steel structures, but trailer trailer frames are not typically either submerged or buried.

Is there a good (and easy) way to get the foam off? I picked up a rock that broke the gray water tank pipe. I can see water leaking but it’s an ordeal to get to see the tank to repair the leak. Thought I had it fixed and put more spray foam on it but have to go back and plastic weld in a new pipe. Thoughts??

Thanks
I have the foam insulation under the trailer and I had it LineX with all frame part that are apparent. Best thing to do in my opinion as I use the trailer in winter and on forest road.
