Food for Thought
My wife Sandy and I are new members of the Escape Travel Forum. We were at a fiberglass rendezvous last week to see three of the four 5.0 Escapes in Texas together. We wanted to tour some trailers before we placed a build order. I want to personally thank all who let us look and ask questions.
We have owned a Casita since 2003. One of the best things I have ever bought. But for the same reasons as many of you, we are looking for improved design and a bit more space. While there, we showed our own rig to a couple of interested parties. When the conversation came up about price, you could tell they were comparing the square footage $ of their stick built against our Casita. To one guy I said, "How many people are lined up to see stick built RV's scattered among us?" I informed one individual that when you own a molded fiberglass trailer, you get a big family to go with it. Before we left the park, we ordered a new 5.0 Escape in the 2012 July production schedule just the way we wanted it. To sum it up, " 5.0 Escape - $30,000...molded fiberglass RV family... Priceless!"
Best wishes in 2012 to our RV family.

Re: Food for Thought
You are going to like the Escape 5.0. Reace and Tammy are great to work with and will do anything within reason to build you the very best trailer. I special ordered my 19ft in 2010 and took delivery in November that year. We have enjoyed 45 nights in the trailer so far. We even managed camping when my wife broke her arm during a camping trip.

Re: Food for Thought
Hi David and Sandy,
So glad you made it out to Brazos Bend. I think you will be the fourth 5.0. The rest are 19s. The interest is growing in Texas. Next year we should see a few more Escapes, including yours. That's so cool.
Happy New Year!

Re: Food for Thought
Great Product from Good people.
We have had our unit 19' for a year now.
Traveled coast to coast in Canada, Hundreds of miles of gravel roads.
To sum it up, I would buy the same unit again.
Welcome aboard
Geo

Re: Food for Thought
Which opens the topic, "what would you do different, when you ordered another Escape"?
