It's possible that there are no recalls. Most recalls are announced as applying to a certain range of models and model years, but many vehicles within that range are often not actually affected. When you provide the VIN, it can be checked more specifically, so even though there are four recalls in the NHTSA database for a 2016 F-150 in general, it is entirely plausible that none of them apply to your specific truck.
The door handle recall in the NHTSA database related to a trim cover, as Robert explained. If your truck is not of a trim level and options that includes that trim item, the recall wouldn't apply.
On the other hand, it's also possible that there is another problem - or variant of the same problem - for which the recall process is still in progress. There have been recalls which have grown greatly in scope from the original announcement to the final state, as the problem is better understood. There's some sense to checking this database annually or so to see if there's anything new for your vehicle. If you have service done at a Ford dealership, they will typically do this for you at each service (because they are supposed to, because it is the right thing to do, and because they make money doing the work of the recall).
