We are definitely not full-timers but have lived in our Escapes for a good bit more than a year. You find out a lot of things about trailers!

I'm living in my Escape 17A full time. I have the extra insulation and foam undercoating. The lowest temps have been just below freezing. The highest 104F. (I don't have air conditioning but survived.) I try to follow reasonable temperatures to avoid the extremes. Love my 17A!

we travel for work. Paddleboard instructors/ambassadors. we have lived up to 7 months a year in our 19 for the past 5 years. fun stuff. helps to have a Ford E-250 van as a TV. It's the garage and the Escape is home.

Dometic Fridge

When the spark igniter tries to light the burner sometimes it clicks 20 to 30 times. This can't be normal. Any suggestions?

light the stove 1st to verify gas, then try the fridge. could also be the igniter needs to be adjusted, not that I've done it on a fridge.

Try cleaning the burner jet. The video below show how to pull the burner assembly and check the orifice. Cleaning the orifice should be all you need to do unless the burner assembly looks as bad as the one in the video - in that case, just replace it.
