GCD bounce

So my Newish GCD was Feb 1 until the covid delay reported here by several of us sent my GCD back until mid March... I got an email today about a build slot opening that would have my traile (5.0 TA) done by December 9. Great news for me other than a couple of health challenges I have to find out if they are going to be a thing.. Passed, because I needed to respond within 24 hrs . Still hoping for a march or earlier date.. Someone else will fill that Dec 9 date

Tell us what a GCD is? Is that defined somewhere and I am missing the location?

Updated GCD

Okay, now I'm confused. Last Wednesday I received an email saying that our December 3, 2021 GCD was being pushed out to January 21, 2022. Seems odd that you received an email almost the opposite of ours? Both are 5.0s.

Hopefully you'll get the date that I passed on, December 9

The only reason I can think of is possibly ETI has a supply issue for your build they don’t have for sofmerc’s build based on the options chosen. Otherwise, I’d be confused too.

Escape no longer uses the term “ guaranteed delivery date “. When they pushed out my 12/2/2021 GCD to 1/11/2022 because of staffing issues not a shortage it is now called an estimated completion date.

"Production completion date is what they used for my recent emails.

We have had a slot on December 9th, 2021 open for your trailer’s production completion date. Would you like to move your slot to December 9th, 2021 or keep your current date of March 18th, 2022?

My email used the wording estimated completion date, either way the word guaranteed is no longer used.
