Wishing all of you a great trip to Chilliwack! I'm on day 197 from picking up my 21, and am still on the road.

We got our VIN, Certificate of Origin, NAFTA stuff...ETC a few days ago and we are excited as well. Our 19ft condo orientation and pickup is scheduled for March 26. Looking forward to getting some pics. Anyone know approximately when they start sending photos?

Our third Escape is scheduled for completion on March 9. We started receiving the first build pictures on 2/15. That looks like about a 4-week spread between first pictures and completion date.

Our orientation/pickup is on the 3/23. Yup, pretty excited!

Our completion date is March 20. Our orientation is March 29. This will be a long road trip. We're leaving Central FL on March 12 heading to South Texas for my in-laws 70th wedding anniversary. Then to Tucson for a very quick visit with our son and DIL, followed by the trip to Chilliwack. Well be there on the 28, get the trailer on the 29, spend a day or 2 checking everything out. Then we head to Myrtle Beach for a rally with our Bluebird Wanderlodge friends, again via Tucson. By the time we get home, we'll have been on the road for 5 or 6 weeks. We lived on our sailboat for a year, twice and spent 6 months in our bus so we're used to road trips. I'm looking forward to the simplicity and reliability of a small trailer and a new van! Maybe we'll see some of you on the road.

Klaus and Karen,
I think you and I may be the only 2 Escape 19 owners to replicate ourselves. I had a 2012 19', a 2014 21', and now a 2016 19'. Welcome to the club.

We had a 2011 17', then a 2015 19' and now the 2018 19'. Hey, we could hold a rally -- of two!

cpacharley, looks like you are due for a new trailer if you want to keep your two year turns intact.

The only thing the 2018 has is that neat stove, plus my propane tanks are about 50%!!

It will be interesting to see what stove you get...that is if it is not covered with a protective build mat.

The official announcement said that trailers built after April 1 will have the new cook top. I'm assuming we'll get the old model. I think I'd rather the old model. The new one looks great but the recessed burners limit you to small pots or skillets. Either will be fine, that's just my observation.

True, but we like smaller and taller pots when camp cooking. It's just the two of us then, so a large pan or pot is unnecessary, and a smaller pot means quicker cooking. Also, much easier to store in the tiny cabinets.

You're right but we have a very nice set of nesting cookware, with removable handles, that we carried on our sailboats, then our Class A, and now the 19. We'll keep using those till we can't. LOL. These also work on our induction cooktop which we like to use outside whenever possible.

I hear that. As it so happens, we use Magma nesting cookware, and we have a recessed cooktop - although it's a Dickinson Marine cooktop so I'm not sure if there's more space between the burners and the edge vs the new stock cooktops.
