Goodbye to our travelling companion!

Yesterday our greyhound Chelsea died. She travelled with us on our camping trips in BC, Washington and Oregon. She was a sweet, beautiful dog, and we miss her.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. We lost our oldest Golden this summer. They become members of your family and always give you unconditional love.

Can't imagine the loss of our dog although I know it will hit us like a ton of bricks when the inevitable happens. I hear your loss and pain. So sorry!

So sorry for your loss Brian. Your pictures of Chelsea are beautiful and she sure is a sweet girl. I have a Saluki cross sight hound and she has the same sweet look as Chelsea. All the best.

So sorry! Sighthounds are the best, I'm glad you found each other. Now if only heart dogs could somehow live to 50!

So sorry. I had deerhounds for many years. Big sighthounds grab your heart, then run away with it far too soon.

Brian, we are so sorry for your loss. Our canine companions, as pictured, add so much joy to our wilderness camping experiences - even tiptoeing over them at night in our cozy 17. Parting will be difficult! Best wishes, Carmen & Glenn.

So sorry for your loss. She's at the rainbow bridge waiting. It's so hard when our beloved pets pass. Rest in peace sweet Chelsea.

Brian, those of us that have loved and lost beloved pets certainly understand what you're going through at this time and we grieve with you. A friend of mine wrote this after we lost our "baby" Rottie some years back and it always brings me peace. May it do the same with you: "The one thing about the human’s relative longevity is that we get to see lots of animal friends go through their whole lives before we make the same journey. And we are richer for having them in our lives for a while and in our memories for ever."
