Guard around heater?

We pickup our 17B at the end of April and are a little concerned about our kids touching the heater. We have a 2.5 year old and a 1 year old and have been thinking about some find of guard we might be able to install.

Has anyone added an extra safety guard to their heater?

Thanks

You may wish to inquire if there could be an air conditioner/heater unit that could be installed (if you've ordered an air conditioner)which would be overhead. I don't use the supplied heater because of my dog, but instead use a small electric one on a counter top. The concern would be the guard heating up as well. But if the 2.5 one is a climber, you'd have to watch out for it and a chord as well.Good luck!

The furnace heat is not that hot that would burn someone instantly, at least not on the inside, the exhaust will though.
