heater, seelevel gauges,tv antennae not working

Pick up our 19 in Sumas August 12. Got home and the first thing wrong, the water heater did not work. Finally figured out the ignitor was not sufficiently in the gas jet. Went to Jackson Hole. First nite the heater seemed to work well. Second nite, a lot of clicking and flaming. Didnt want to sleep with that so tried resetting ground wires in the morning. Fired up,ran 20 seconds, flamed out, reignited and ran 2 seconds, repeated endlessly. Tried again at nite and ran better but still flamed intermittantly but did warm to temp and shut off. Any ideas? The seelevel gauges gave varying inaccurate readings but mostly "err" excpt battery. The tv antenna is supposed to rotate 360 degrees but only goes 10 and hits a hard stop. Have a call into Escape but they are in no hurry. Just thought i'd try the forum while waiting. I live in astoria oregon so will drive over to the rally at Fort Stevens this weekend.

What battery do you have? If your battery capacity is not pretty full, the heater can run as you described. That’s one possibility, for that issue. Did everything else work on propane? Not sure about antenna. Mine does turn. SeeLevel. There are folks here who might have an idea about if the electrical is best searched from the control panel or senders.

My heater too, behaves just like yours apparently randomly. I don’t have it reliably fixed yet. Every time I test it, it works. The sail switch is notorious, but this behavior has not been a sail switch issue for me.

Finally, new trailer. With power disconnected, check your battery connections, all of the connections going into the electrical panel, and all of the connections in the panel. Several of us have found loose connections.
