Here is a typical newbie question

i love the adaptation of the squeeze toys! resourceful!

I have my dishes and small set of pots/pans in the cabinet above the refrig (no microwave). I used two of the corner rubbermaid shelves (counting the floor of the cabinet, three shelves. I have other stuff stowed in plastic trays that come from target, they fit sideways into all the back cabinets, and it's easy to shift them to get to the one in the back/side edges. It also keeps crumbs etc contained for easy cleaning.

After traveling 6592 miles in the last 2 months with the trailer, I can safely say they keep the plates, bowls and glasses (all made from melamine) in place. I have 2 sets of them in the cupboard over the sink.

we use non-slip shelf liners everywhere for dishes, etc. We also use a layer of thin bubble wrap between nested pots and frying pans and their lids. It works very well to avoid scratching the ceramic interiors or breaking the glass lids.
