ELECTRIC AWNING Looks like neither the picture taker's awing nor the distant trailer's awning are manual, they both seem to be shedding the rain.

Any non believer about using an electric awning in the rain should have been at the 2019 Mississippi Rally. Many of us were under Steve Dunham's awning during very heavy rainfall (enjoying biscuits and gravy and daily coffee gatherings). No, it did not collapse and yes it did drain. I am not sure if it was fully extended, but it was out a very long way.

Ronn I'm pretty sure that photo of Jim's was the 2019 Miss rally. The Scamp next door is Corky and Darlene's and I doubt it's an electric awning. Can you even get one on a Scamp?

I hear this year's Miss. rally will have fine weather, oh, it's cancelled!

We had a smaller than usual fireworks fireworks for Canada Day and all other activities were cancelled. We heard the 4th's fireworks from Pembina ND and had we bothered we probably could have driven down close to the border and watched them.

Good eye, I was looking for the manual pole and didn't even realize that was a Scamp!

Yes, Mississippi Rally cancelled, but it looks like there will be 3 of us not cancelling reservations. The last 2 years the weather has been less than delightful, this year will be great.

We are heading to Bay City, Wisconsin (on Lake Superior) for a few days next week. Except for our month in February we have only been out once into Iowa for a couple days in June.

You are lucky to get to visit Lake Superior. I doubt we'll see it this year. We plan to have our Thunder Bay grandchildren for a while next month but meeting them partway. Perhaps on return we'll go to Tbay. Our province has only just opened up western Canada and west of north of Superior in Ontario to visitors who do not have to self isolate for two weeks. From further east you still must do so. We're keeping our numbers low here 325 cases 7 deaths, no new cases for nine days now. Four left recovering none of those in hospital.
