Home at Last

Hi everyone

We arrived home last night after a month on the road (7,884 km) travelling through to southern Utah. Had wonderful weather most of the time (95 degrees in St. George) but also had several incredible thunder and lightning displays over the canyons of Bryce, Zion, and Capitol Reef. We stopped in at Escape on our return and had a few warranty items looked at and our fenders put on. We were looked after royally. Saw "the Grasshopper" in its final stages of production. Also was shown Gerda's custom fabric. Very nice. Tammy told us that Drew (Duece) has an incredible 13 footer and we would love to see some interior pictures. It was -6 in Prince George our last night of camping, 2 degrees inside the trailer. Sadly we are now in the process of cleaning and polishing the trailer ready for winter hibernation. Already planning for next spring. The first picture is of our spot in Clarkston, Washington on the bank of the Snake River. The steelehead were running and we sat and watched them being reeled in. The second is our spot in Torrey, Utah. Safe travels everyone.

Nice pictures.
I didn't realize when I saw you that you had been so far away and on such a trip..One day we will do the same..
We enjoyed our weekend and the weather was great...

(We were in the same line up at Costco gas in Bellingham and I had to go see who the other "escape" owner was!!!)

Re: Home at Last

Our turn is coming for one of those long trips. We have a 15' escape on order and are greatly looking forward to next year's camping season. It's great to read about so many having fun with these little trailers. Don in Prince George.

Re: Home at Last

Nice pics & sounds like a great trip. Sounds like we just missed you and amirie in Bellingham b/c we passed through Bellingham both on our way to and from Chilliwack around that timeframe. Too bad, it would've been fun to meet both of you & see your rigs.

On our trip up, dropped in on Edgar in Loveland, CO and got to see his 19 which is the first actual Escape we ever saw since we purchased ours sight unseen. We also did see one more when we passed an Escape 13 in the middle of WY traveling west on I-80.
