I left my money in Chilliwack :-)
Monday afternoon I left for Chilliwack with the intention of simply looking. You know, see how they’re built, kick the tires and ask a few questions. I’d been vacillating between the 15B and 17B; it’s just the 2 of us, my dog and me, and I wanted to get a feeling for size.
Today Chrystal took me on the factory tour, I was quite impressed with both the process and quality. There was the chance to get a feel of the inside of both the 15B and 17B; the 15B could fit my “needs” but, son-of-a-gun, the extra 2 feet of the 17B plus the front dinette sure would be nice. The drawback of the 17B? The earliest completion date for the 17B would be October 14th while the 15B would be completed June 9th. I’m now leaning towards the 15B simply to be on the "camping" road next year. “I want it now”.
When Chrystal and I got back to the office I pulled out my CC ready to make a deposit and asked for lead times. Son-of-a-gun, (again), for the 17B I could be squeezed into a January date that had just opened. SOLD!
Now to finalize the build sheet.

Congrats for being 'Johnny on the Spot', Pat. Lots of fun times ahead, with the planning, and then the camping.

Just the title of your post made me smile. Congratulations! But, good grief--you only have two months to make decisions. Youza.

Actually, Karen, the build sheet needs to be completed by the 11/14 , two weeks beyond the normal lead time they want. Luckily I'd already put a lot of thought into what I would want.

Congratulations, Pat! When I read your story, I felt I was reading my own -- except in Cleveland instead of Chilliwack! Was going to get a 15B. Visited a 21 this past Sunday. Gave my deposit yesterday for a 17B. Will be ready 10/15/15. I'll be looking forward to seeing your build sheet! Very excited for you!

Good for you, Pat.
That's the trouble with walking in and walking out almost with trailer in hand. Need that build sheet immediately. I'm sure you'll manage.
Someone else picked up an opened slot for a 21' today.

Sounds like ETI is going to be busy for some time to come. But when you have a quality product, what do you expect. Loren.

Pat, same opening of the production schedule happened to us and we had 2 weeks to get the build sheet done! Crazy couple of weeks, I decided to go for every possible option I could want and then back out of a couple just before production started a couple of weeks later after I thought of them. ETI didn't charge me a change order fee like they would have had I added those options instead......

Hi Pat,
Congratulation on the purchasing of your new trailer you're going to love it. Our trailer took six months to receive and that seemed like it took for ever.

Hi Pat,
Congratulations on your new trailer! Your new name for it "Escaping Reality" was great and made me laugh. Have you had any thoughts on what your new tow vehicle will be?
Cheers,
Jim
