Idle Musings on Little Improvements: 2010/2022

In moving from a 2010 17B to a 2022 21C we have noticed a number of small improvements that make the trailer much more enjoyable. Some are probably due to the change from 17B to 21C, but most are probably found in all models. They are not listed or noted anywhere, and are a pleasant surprise.

We have probably missed some, feel free to add those you have found:
1. Motion sensor light in bath. Very bright, but a nice touch (can be turned off if one wants).
2. USB on all Captain's lights.
3. Larger refrigerator
4. A lot more lights and outlets, DC and AC.
5. Holdup clips on storage doors.
6. Much nicer kitchen sink faucet, with spray.
7. BMS/Victron power monitoring system. Very nice and handy.
8. Vent on exterior water fill. No more slow fill or shower from trapped pressure.
9. Much better locks on drawers.
10. The cabinets seem to have more space, but that may be due to the larger trailer.
11. A/C ready if ordered without air conditioning. (?) Made installation of Houghton A/C easy.

That’s odd. You didn’t have a vent on your 2010? Ours is integrated into the combination city water / gravity fill hatch. Small clear tube comes up to a small outlet port.

I was wondering about that also. Both my Escapes have had the same vent and when it starts spitting I know the tanks almost full.

Nope. Got more than one shower from the back flush pressure. Only way to avoid it was to fill very slowly.
