If I hit my head one more time...
I absolutely love our E19 but I've hit my head a number of times on the corner of the overhead cabinets above the dinette by the door.
I'm trying to figure out what I might be able to put on that curved corner to soften the blow. You would think that after cracking your jug on it half a dozen times you might stay away from it but apparently I'm a slow learner!

Be patient....your noggin may callus over and harden
Or, there is foam, 90 degree edge bumper strips, often used to protect the kiddies from bashing into table tops and the like. Grey in color, or at least that's what I have. It comes in a roll and has an adhesive strip attached.
Or be patient.
here's some.

I tend to hit my head on the overhead door jamb when exiting my 5.0...I learn for a while, but then I forget in a key moment, to my dismay! I still haven't found a great solution for that part...

I hit the overhead door jamb also. Was hoping to find a simple picture of a duck to hang above it.

pool noodles anyone?
Cut one to length, in your preferred color, slit it down the middle and place it over your offending spot. It is compressible and may work a top a door opening. There's thinner foam tubing, used to insulate water piping.
Or wear your dang DOOR helmut, at all times! Can't hurt to do so.
LOOK HIGH, LOOK LOW, LOOK EVERYWHERE YOU GO!

I guess misery loves company...per above I can't count the number of times I've knocked my noggin on the overhead door jamb and/or above the dinette.

I have hit my head on the door jamb. I hit my head many times on the corner in the 19.
We installed some of the edge guards previously described and it softened the blow. Tonight I am pretty sure I bent the stinger and ball mount on my hitch. At least that’s what my knee said.
Oooh that smarts.

Muscle memory. If that doesn't work, see your doctor.

Nah, I don't hit my head any more, replaced the head hitter with a 21C.

It appears as if I am not alone with this issue! Misery loves company!
We have one of the retractable wall hooks installed just above the corner in question so I think I'll try hanging something off of that as a reminder. We'll see how that works out!

No accidents yet today but it’s still early
Think I’ll take my new boat out again today. Heard the bluegills were biting.

I guess great minds think alike, or something. I was thinking the same thing. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...VZESKIF3&psc=1
Only problem is I hit my head on the door frame because I'm not looking up so I'm not sure it will help.
I'm thinking about getting one of these ball cap style hard hats, might save some head knocks. https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Baseba...2642139&sr=8-8
I seem to hit my head when loading up for a trip and making lots of trips in and out of the camper. And it is always on the way out, I think one of these hats would work for that.

A fellow taking photos told me it’s some kind of river research vessel owned by Michigan State University.

This is the one I hit too, usually if I have a hat on and the cabinet bulkhead is hidden behind the hat brim. I have done it often enough that I plan to pad it, but as an interim measure I have taped a 12" length of orange flagging tape to the corner which hangs down and grabs your attention before the impact.
At 6'4" you would think it would be the air conditioner or door jam that I hit, but is mostly is this cabinet corner.

Yes, I have permanent scars on my head from exiting the 5.0 TA. A friend, who is a camp host, was previously a graphic designer and illustrator. He drew the picture that is mounted above my door.

How tall are you?
Was there alcohol involved?

5'9 Perfect for almost making it. But not quite. If I forget to duck, I make solid contact.
Alcohol, on more than one occasion.
