Anyone else notice that?

We're hunkered down on the "third coast" this morning during Texas spring break week. Unfortunately a cold front with rain has followed us here. We are staying at one of our favorite state parks on the bay, Goose Island. Expecting sunny skies and heavy stringers later this week. Also planning to get our fill of fresh gulf seafood. We have met several "snow birds" traveling their way back north to home. A couple from Maine two spots down are feeling lucky to miss a harsh winter.

I actually thought it has been rather busy, and increasingly so since the sites beginnings. Mind you, I was the third one to register on the site, right behind Jeff and baglo. Alf was along right away too, and things really picked up then.

And I was a month behind y'all and had to wait six years to own an Escape trailer

Lens lots of definition to the term "Better late, than never".

I belong to all the all molded forums and am seeing a slow down on all of them. Facebook however is picking up fast... too fast, I prefer the forums because of the archives. If you don't read Facebook groups continually, ya miss something good!

To pick things up a bit, I have question for all of you…. I am planning to send ETI this stereo for my trailer… Amazon.com: JENSEN AM/FM/WB/CD/RBDS/USB SiriusXM Ready and iPod Ready Stereo with Bluetooth: Car Electronics … what speakers should I have installed with it and why?? Is there a preferred or "necessary" speaker size that I should be aware of?

Not familiar with that unit but notice there is no weather band. Also it can receive bluetooth, if you got one that broadcast bluetooth you can go with table top speakers. I have had this one in my last 3 campers…… it has these features I want….Amazon.com: JENSEN Part # JHD910BT: Automotive

I thinks retirement must be going well for Alf , when I first showed up on this forum every second post was from him, now not so much . That's ok , when he steps up to one of the 5.0 's I am sure he will get back into the swing of things

Re: "...busy enjoying life."

Life and stuff happens. Upon return from a weekend away, after parking trailer in yard but not under my canopy I made the mistake of forgetting to remove my entrance step. Then violated rule number one: always do the walk-around. When moving the trailer again, ran over the wood step. Total loss. Need that step, couldn't leave home without it. Good news is the trailer undercarriage was undamaged.

My favorite wood supplier (see picture) had the wood for building a new one. Love that place, especially when Home Depot doesn't have what I need in their scrap bins. Step almost done now, bigger and better than ever. Giving thought to painting it a brighter shade of red.

Yeah, Alf has a terrible problem. I just wished I could sleep instead of hanging out here waiting for people to show up and post

I'm not sure, I know my phone transmits to my car radio but not vice versa, whereas this radio is made to transmit to bluetooth headphones or other devices. Do not know if it is two way or not, but some of the wireless speakers will receive and can be used as a speaker phone, but that is really different. Let's wait and see what others say.
