It’s a Small World.

We are currently in The Netherlands and Belgium on a river cruise. I met a fellow traveler from Canada and we talked about common interests. When I mentioned Chilliwack and Escape he said “oh I’m very familiar with them”. Then he told me he was the contractor who erected the metal buildings as part of their expansion a couple of years ago. It’s a Small World After all. [emoji4]

Someone once told me that within 6 questions, you can always find something in common with a stranger.....

I have found that if you travel and if you were professionally involved with your professional community it’s often considerably less that 6 degrees of separation. If folks are willing to share their work history, their hobbies and the places that they have visited it
Doesn’t take long to be able to relate to them. When we camped at Algonac recently the folks on the one side of us mentioned in conversation that they were from Fort Wayne indiana. My daughter and son and law and kids were on the other side of us. They too live in Fort Wayne. It didn’t take long for them to learn they only lived a few miles at most away from each other.
If you are in your own state and have camped extensively then it’s especially likely that you will find someone from a town you’ve visited, done business in, or know the towns their consolidated.and abbreviated School district. Let’s hear it for EdCo, BGM, , HLV, AGWSR, and MFL-MarMac
