Joining Escape Family!

We finally took pocession of our trailer on May 13. The trailer construction was completed in February , 14 and waiting for pick up at the ETI. It was worth making a trip to Chilliwack to see the factory and to meet Reace, Tammy and Kim. We would like to thank forum menbers for their valuable contributions to our build sheet. We have a lovely travel trailer and love it. Thank you Duke and Berverly for their willingness to show us their Escape 19 at our first egg rally in 2012. We were fortunate to sell our 2012 Casita 17ft within one week in 2013.
We have almost all the options exception insulation for the the trailer bottom, 6 cu ft refridgerator and oven. We will post the last two weeks of our build pictures.
We stayed at Riverview B&B the day before orientation. This is a super place to wind down after 4 days of a long drive, drinking wine on the deck and enjoying the mountain and river view. This was one of ETI's recommendations.
Orientation, crossing border and taking pocessing of trailer was very smooth.
We were at the Bayview State Campground by 1 pm. We went to a local pub "Old Edison inn" and had a nice seafood dinner and drinks.
We took the ferry to Port Townsend and stayed at Fort Worden campground for two nights. We visited Olympic National Park and went to Huricane Ridge which has specticular views.
Coeur D'Allene was where we stayed overnight before travelling to Yellowstone National Park. We stayed three nights at Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone lake was still frozen. Some parts of the park was still closed. We visited Old Faithful and saw the lots of gysers. We did not see much wild life. The weather was unpredictable, one minute the sun was shinning and another minute it was sleeting. However, this did not hinder any of our ativities and roads were clear. The furnace worked very well at night! Our next stop was Custer Park and we pulled our Escape over Big Horn without any problems. We stayed 3 nights at Custer State Park. The weather was warmer. We saw plenty of buffalo, but no bears. The small town of Custer City is worth visiting. The town has plenty of local breweries. We also went through many tunnels and traveled many miles of winding roads (without the Escape). We also visited Mt. Rushmoore and Crazy Horse Monument. Our last stop was Omaha Casino RV park before driving 600 miles home. It was worth the time, energy and money to enjoy the trip.
We are proud to be the first Escape owners in Little rock Arkansas.
