Just put deposit down on 2016 19'!
Hey all...
We just put our deposit down on a 19' to replace our 2005 17B. We'll be spending more time traveling during the early spring to escape (!) mud season here in Maine and really want a bigger bed to house us and our 3 small dogs (the big dog sleeps on the floor!).
We've loved our 17B dearly and after researching other fiberglass options, could see no good reason to move away from Escape. We've personally experienced the quality of their product and the outstanding customer service from Tammy and Reace.
Very excited! We'll be selling our 17B later this summer or fall.
I did post a question elsewhere about towing the 19' with our 2010 Toyota Highlander with factory tow package. Would love any feedback from anyone doing the same... particularly regarding weight distribution hitch recommendations, etc..
BTW, I have spent countless hours on this incredible forum while doing my research. Thank you all for sharing your experiences, suggestions, opinions, etc..

So true. I don't know of any other fiberglass trailer maker where you can get the kind of quality and service you can with the Escape -- at least for a comparable price. Congrats on your purchase.

Congrats! We just changed tow vehicles a few months ago from a 2006 Tundra to a 2015 Highlander with factory tow package. We use the Anderson WDH and love the new TV. I think your 2010 has the same 5000 lb tow capacity. It's not like pulling with the Tundra but so far I find it very comfortable towing with the Highlander.
We have friends that also have a Highlander around the same year as yours that tow a 19' and they love it and are the reason we decide to get one.

Funny, we just did as well! May 17 2016 pick-up. Just got an email that our date moved up one month.
This is setting us up for retirement trailering. Up to now we have just rented. This year we could not rent as the smallest trailer in the rental fleet was over our 5000 lb tow limit (2010 Nissan Xterra). I have to respect reality but I'm really dismayed at the apparent creeping increase in tow weights and tug capacities.
In looking for a trailer we wanted no wood in the frame, minimal chance for leaks, queen bed and bathroom. Escape came thru and all others looked at fell short or had poor build quality (IMHO).
Now starting on the build sheet and looking through this forum for ideas, what works, what doesn't. Can anyone send links or shortcuts to threads that go over this?
Thank in advance.

Congrats to all. ETI is really getting booked up. In checking their production schedule I see they are now out 11 months on the 19's. We booked last Sept. and will pick up this Sept. My usual advice is, the build sheet will be due before you are ready. Good luck. Loren
