Lucky me indeed. Lucky that I've started putting a thin painters drop sheet over the trailer before putting my Adco cover on. The cover isn't completely waterproof but its' primary purpose is to keep fallout, bird droppings and tree sap off the roof. But some dirt was still making it through so I put the drop sheet on last year and the trailer was pretty spotless this year. So on it went again.
I was showing the trailer today and removed the foam insulating insert from the rear vent. I have a vent, not an A/C. Imagine my shock when I saw the complete destruction of the vent cover.
Even when I broke one on my Scamp breaking up ice with a hoe
I only cracked it.
Lucky me because the only thing between a flooded trailer was that flimsy sheet of painters drop sheet.
As in the Scamp I'll be replacing it with a polycarbonate cover instead of the bio degradable polypropylene.
