fan blade

Yes How do you release fan blade is it that little allen skrew and then slide down shaft ? Thats what it looks like I don't like to break plastic parts .jim w.

Fred,

I installed one from scratch and I agree with the others - the swap out is VERY simple, and no sealant required. Just remove inside trim, disconnect wires, then 4 screws up on top (2 on each side) and the assembly lifts right off the flange! Sit new one in, and reverse process! Good luck!
