More Escapes coming to Texas

Per a couple of recent postings in another thread, it appears that there are two Escapes-in-waiting that will soon call Texas home. Combined with another one (San Antonio area) that's also in queue and the three that are already here, I believe that Texas will soon be home to a total of six Escapes. WooHoo!

Congratulations and welcome to Jackie & Pam, Vicki & Marv, and Duke & Beverlee

On a side note, it'd be interesting to see how many Escapes are based in each of the lower 48 states, Alaska & the various Canadian provinces. Congrats to Reace & Tammy for the continued expansion and geographic dispersion of their fabulous products.

Cheesehead Statistics

The Cheesehead state currently has three Escapes-in-residence. There is a fourth currently in incubation that will join the flock in late July.

Now to make this fair we need to do a per capita count of Escapes. Wisconsin has 5.5 mil population with a per capita of one to 1.4 mil.

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

As one of the upcoming Texas Escapees, I can say that we are truly excited. Duke & Bev, Marv & Vicki, and Pam & I, were, until real recently, Casita owners and camped alot with our Casita Club. Soon, we will be adding some different flavors to our Camping Group.
Thanks for the welcome!

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

Thanks for the welcome Brad,
I have wanted the Escape 5.0 for years. The Casita was a great trailer and we had a lot of fun traveling with it (one trip-14,000 miles to Alaska and back last year), but we are very excited to soon get an Escape. We can hardly wait.

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

When you get your new unit perhaps you will come up the highway again. stop and see me I will arrange for you to get a permit to carry your guns through Canada into Alaska and back to the lower 48.
Whitehorse is just an hour away to Alaska and there is quite a bit of interaction between us up here in the best piece of the world.

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

Hello everyone,
Duke and I are really looking forward to picking up our new Escape 19 in July.
We were able to share our enthusiasm with Marv and Vicki and Jackie and Pam at a recent rally we all attended.
Thanks for the kind welcome and we will definitely be going to Alaska again (we were with Marv & Vicki on that trip last summer).

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

Hi Guys,

I'm new here. We get more excited every day over this trailer. Now we can say we get it "next month." Sounds better than last January when we ordered it!

Doug, your Whitehorse is a wonderful town. Great sights, great restaurants. We stayed there twice last summer, going to Alaska and coming home, including several days waiting for hwy 37 in BC to reopen after a fire. We'll be back.

Marv

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

Hi: And WELCOME Y'ALL!!! Nice to know that Texans are learning to Escape Too!!! Down here in South Wet Ontario we have at least 3 5.0's, 3 19'ers, 3 17'ers and 1 13'er...that I know of and the numbers just keep on growin'. With the times we have shown ours along roadsides, in gas stn. and grocery store lots along with campgrounds, it's a wonder there arn't more. I don't know of any people who stop to look inside someones fiberglass yacht along the way to the lake? Alf

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

I understand the interest in your trailer, Alf. They are so cool! Since the word got around here that three new Escapes are coming, it has generated lots of talk. Two of us are scheduled to attend a rally the week after we return to Texas. I expect we'll be giving a few tours.

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

I think that all of us are either 19's or 5.0's (three of each) and that the only current DFW area Escape is Dana's 5.0.

Re: More Escapes coming to Texas

Doug,

It's a deal! Actually, we ate there last June. Great place. Next trip, we'll have to lay over so we can go back the next day. Once for ribs, once for salmon. See ya there.
