Movement inside 5.0

Considering purchase the 5.0. We currently own a 28 ft travel trailer. We feel a ton of movement when walking around inside. How much movement do owners of the 5,0 experience? Thx!

Pretty much none, the few times it has been noticeable (with the stabilizers too high off the ground), we apply the XBAL chocks.

Funny you should ask. We picked our's up in June and have over 75 night in the 5.0. This campsite is the first I have notice much movement at all. I pretty much did'nt notice it until morning when my wife was up moving around. We are very high on the front jacks and I see one of my rear stabilizers is not firm to the ground. I just firmed up the rear stabilizers, we'll see what morning brings. But, to answer your question we don't generally have movement.

We just purchased our 5.0 a few months ago and have been pleasantly surprised at how little movement there is when the trailer is unhooked at the campsite. It's a wonderful trailer. We did 2 months of traveling and not one issue. We love it!

We are on an extended trip in our 2019 5.0TA. Last night I forgot to put the rear stabilizer jacks down and we didn't even notice - that's how solid it feels.

It is very stable. However depending on the length of our stay we put down in order of priority the stabilizer jacks, x chocks and finally a tripod stabilizer.

As others have said if the landing gear or rear stabilizers are fully out you do get some wobble. I use the orange Walmart leveler blocks under each to help with this. I also use x chocks which help quite a bit. If I am somewhere for more than a few days I also have a bipod that I can bring and put under the kingpin....my wife is a bit of a bull in a china shop when she moves around!

For a while I didn't even bother with the stabilizers, then I used them due to the trailer being in a precarious spot, and of course not being used to them being down I didn't remember to put them up when breaking camp. I now put them down whether I need them or not.

i am very lazy and my fellow camper boats a lot so we don't mind a little movement rarely put down rear stabilizers and x chocks are still in the box i just level and put down front stabilizers.

It takes 2 minutes tops to put down the stabilizers and install the X-Chocks. Well worth it in my opinion.

It's hard to say if one couple will experience movement while another may not. There are those that I call "heavy walkers." That could make a big difference.
