Update

Installed Fold-A-Cover with Personal Caddy couples weeks back and today I installed the 7 pin 5th wheel adapter harness in truck bed. Next on the list, install the Anderson hitch.

Kent, having just completed my build sheet a month ago, and having had only 3 weeks in which to do it, I envy you the time you took to decide on things just the way you want them. (I'm not complaining...I had an opportunity to move up completion from August to March!) I really like your flooring and look forward to seeing it all together at Osoyoos. Now, we wait!

Kent: That is going to be one amazing trailer! The Dickinson stove is a great choice. I see you have included the inverter, but no solar. Personally I see these as complimentary if you are not plugged in. Are you doing some solar yourself?

...On edit I see you have a solar port spec’d. Still interested in your setup

I will have portable unit for sure. Eventually I will have roof top panels, but the jury is out on the type of panel (solid or flexible). I'm following Jim Bennett solar install with great interest!

Looks great!

Your new truck looks really nice! Those mirrors looks pretty handy too. I might need something like that for my Ford F-150.

Thank you Sandy

Fortunately for you and your F150; you can find several aftermarket tow mirrors that look factory at more than half the cost of Clearview's.

Gas & Charcoal Grills

For my gas grill I’ve decided on the Solaire Go Anywhere infrared gas grill. Without the feet installed the grill at its highest point is 11.5 inches, with feet installed and screwed all the way in it sits just under 12 inches. I also purchased the tripod stand and low pressure gas conversion kit so I can plug into the optional trailer gas connection.

I’m also a big fan of charcoal grills and have the Weber Go Anywhere charcoal grill.

Paperwork

Received my Bill of Sale and related paperwork in the mail from ETI yesterday. Took paperwork to DMV today to make sure I had everything I needed to title in MT. and everything was good. Just cannot get title or plates until I bring back customs form with customs stamp.

Cost for trailers over 16 feet is one time fee of $152 for permanent plates. I will pickup my temp tag which is good for 45 days couple weeks prior to my OR date.

I expect to start seeing pictures soon!

Depends on how you look at it. No sales tax and lower cost of living, but 6 months of cold and snow.

You can't just look at one tax and make a decision. Alberta has no sales tax but has one of the highest income taxes on middle income earners.
You have to look at all the taxes and the services. If you want to live in a state with no roads, go ahead. Taxes will probably be lower.
Scandinavian countries have the highest taxes and are all in the top ten for happiest populations.
Canada is down at #7 and the US is #18.
