Name for your Escape

We are considering naming our 19. Not sure what quite yet. Is there a list of names people have come up with? We would hate to think of one and then find out someone has that name already.

This thread perhaps of interest ... Escape Forum: What's in a name?

Names

Are you going to get a graphic made to install on the trailer? I like personalized names but we don’t have one on ours. Here’s a couple nice ones and the graphic that AZJack and Nancy had painted on our 21 which we really like. Wouldn’t think of removing it.

Thanks for the help. Those graphics are very nice. I’m looking for custom vinyl. Vinyl lettering is easy to find, we have a simple graphic drawing in mind, but tougher to find cut vinyl custom images, caricatures.

Whatever you do, don't name it. And certainly don't have the name displayed on it. That's just silly.Click image for larger version

Problem is, I didn't know "toad" is a common term for a small vehicle towed behind a gigantic motor home, when I named it.

Oh...didn't know that at all..... Well, maybe those gigantic motor homes should think of another name......suits your " Toad " much better.

It’s a good name. That’s why I use it for my forum name. However, for a Trailer it’s sounds too much like a Manufacturers name. Like Winnebago Voyager or something.

Hi: Voyager... We owned a 1977 Boler Voyager as our first fiberglass trailer. One name I wouldn't use is "Sunny Beaches" either, although there seem to be a lot of members now who would. Our Escape Hatch and Escape Hatch II are both taken too!!!
How about "Blue By You" under the rear window? Just a passing fancy!!! Alf

My favorite race car number used to race at Knoxville Iowa at the Marion County Speedway. He was B4U. Kind of an “in your face” number. My favorite pulling truck back in the day was
“Tennessee Stud” a hat tip to the great Eddy Arnold.
If I had problems with backing up and wanted to warn forks i would go with “Gimme 40 Acres”
When I used to haul bone carts to the tank house with a fork lift I’d take two at a time.
My friends called me “Jackin’ a double”. My all time favorite hot rod name was a 37 Ford coupe painted robins egg blue and named for a Roy Orbison recording “Blue Angel”
Did I say I like names?

We’ve settled on a name. We ordered lettering and a bird decal. Our 19 will be called ‘ The Nuthatch ‘ .......

So, do you mount that graphic upside down? And, what is upside down to a Nuthatch?

Our trailer is named "Fiona". We asked our 3YO grandson and that's the name he came up with. Apparently Fiona is the name of firetruck on a cartoon he watches...but Fiona it is. It has been fun having a name however, we now utter phrases like "Fiona doesn't like this rough road", "Fiona needs a bath"....
