A name should be short. Preferably one word.
The trailer already has the word Escape on it in several places.

I'm not sure how many read my entry: Escapade. (not Escape )

This thread reminds me of what I went through in '09 in naming our trailer. There may be some ideas in the post I made at the time that you can use... if you're into really bad puns. So, here's the original post:

The Saga of naming the trailer
Ever since I saw the photos of one of the first Escape 19s emblazoned fore and aft with the custom name "Hokie Escape", I've been playing around with a possible name for our upcoming 19, due in a couple of months. After some deep rumination, I started riffing on the whole "egg" moniker. My first flash of inspiration was greeted bu a perplexed "Huh?" when I said, "Honey, let's name the trailer 'Grade A Extra Large'"! After a bit of explanation, all I got was a flat "No" and a shake of the head.

Undaunted, I retreated for a while. Then came the next flash. "Hey! How about 'Sunny Side Up'?" No answer. Not a good sign. I decided to get off the 'egg' approach for a bit. When I hit her up with 'Haulin' Glass', all I got was a disgusted look and a shake of the head. My suggestion of 'Escapist' got about the same.

OK, I thought, back to the 'egg' theme. "So, what do you think of 'Before the Chicken'?" I queried. The result was one of those deadly, unwavering stares that would wilt a lesser punster. I took one last shot and tossed out "'Bad Yolks'?" Same result.

Down to my last bit of inspiration, I went to my best approach: a choice. "So which do you think is better -- 'Nest Egg' or 'Egg Nest'?" It stopped her cold, but for only a second. I think she figured that if she didn't relent, things would only get worse.

The Trailer's name is now 'Egg Nest'. The rest are available, if anyone out there wants them.

I agree with gbaglo because, at night, after a few beer at the neighbors camp site, and you're lost, and hungry, you'll want to have an easy name to shout out (for your trailer to answer to).

Escapade is what Escapees calls some of their group get-togethers.

There are name lists but I can't find one now. I think there was one on FiberglassRV Forum and maybe on the Casita Forum or Club. There are plenty of funny ones.
Taj MaEgg. Eggistence. Eggistentialist. Eggbert.

Sisters on the Fly has names but most of them do not have fiberglass eggs. Junk and Disorderly, Zen Den, Little House on the Bumper, Javelina Cantina.

Bruce, I like Grade A Extra Large!

Of course, In Travels with Charley John Steinbeck named his camper "Rocinante" after Don Quixote's horse. You could continue the tradition.

"Anything that plays directly on "escape" seems too simple for me. I like my jokes to be a little obtuse. Plus, if somebody has to ask you what the name means, it's a good conversation starter."

That is why I chose "quahog" for my name.

Second only to Neil Young, are the number of his songs I have played on guitar. Great campfire tunes.

Donna, thank you. It is always fun to go through names. (Anyone interested, you need to register on the Casita Forum.)
Here are a few of them:
My Pooched Egg, Moon Drop, Yolkswagen, Spunky the Wonder Trailer, The Good Egg, Beluga, Half Cracked, The Oval Office, Eggloo.
That should give you plenty of ideas, Carol.

I don't think anyone cares what you name your trailer... it's all about YOU. One of the best I've heard about, was a trailer called "Dad's CD." I have a very good friend who's father passed and she inherited some $$. She bought a trailer with the money... hence.. Dad's CD! Everytime she goes camping, the memories of past times bubble up. AND, isn't that what life is all about? Good luck with whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be perfect for you...
